Tom Brookshier (Thomas J. Brookshier) was born on December 16, 1931 in Roswell, New Mexico. After going to high school at Roswell (NM), Brookshier attended the University of Colorado. Brookshier made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1953 was Tom Brookshier's best year, as he picked off 8 passes.
