[edit] Biography

Todd Zeile (Todd Edward Zeile) was born on September 9, 1965 in Van Nuys, California. He made his Major League debut on August 18, 1989 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1990, his rookie year, he hit .244 with 15 home runs and 57 RBI. Zeile played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cubs, Philadelphia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles, Los Angeles Dodgers, Texas Rangers, Florida Marlins, New York Mets, Colorado Rockies, New York Yankees and Montreal Expos over the course of his 16 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Todd Zeile's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1999, when he slugged 24 home runs, hit for a .293 average and knocked in 98 runs. However, others believe that it was 1991, when he hit for a .280 average and knocked in 81 runs.
