[edit] Biography

Todd Pratt (Todd Alan Pratt) was born on February 9, 1967 in Bellevue, Nebraska. He made his Major League debut on July 29, 1992 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1999, his rookie year, he hit .293 with 3 home runs and 21 RBI. Pratt played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, New York Mets and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 14 year career.

Most people believe that Todd Pratt's best season was 2000, when he hit for a .275 average.

Pratt was also one of the players named in the Mitchell Report. According to the report, in 1997, Pratt informed Mets clubhouse attendant Kirk Radomski that he had previously bought steroids, specifically Deca-Durabolin, from another source. Pratt allegedly bought two small shipments of anabolic steroids from Radomski in either 2000 or 2001, and Radomski also recalls having several discussions with Pratt involving the use of these steroids. Pratt declined to discuss these allegations with investigators for the Mitchell Report.
