Tino Martinez (Constantino Martinez) was born on December 7, 1967 in Tampa, Florida. He made his Major League debut on August 20, 1990 for the Seattle Mariners. In 1992, his rookie year, he hit .257 with 16 home runs and 66 RBI. Martinez played for the Seattle Mariners, New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals and Tampa Bay Devil Rays over the course of his 16 year career.

Most people believe that Tino Martinez's best season was 1997, when he slugged 44 home runs, hit for a .296 average and knocked in 141 runs.
