Tim Corcoran (Timothy Michael Corcoran) was born on March 19, 1953 in Glendale, California. He made his Major League debut on May 18, 1977 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1978, his rookie year, he hit .265 with 1 home run and 27 RBI. Corcoran played for the Detroit Tigers, Minnesota Twins, Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Tim Corcoran's best season was 1984, when he hit for a .341 average.
