Tim Irwin (Timothy Edward Irwin) was born on December 13, 1958 in Knoxville, Tennessee. After going to high school at Central (Knoxville, TN), Irwin attended the University of Tennessee. Irwin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 14 year career.

Most people believe that 1984 was Tim Irwin's best year.
