Tim Gray (Timothy Gray) was born on November 11, 1952 in Houston, Texas. After going to high school at Kashmere (Houston, TX), Gray attended Navarro Junior College and Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Gray made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1977 was Tim Gray's best year, as he recovered 4 opponents fumbles and ran back 2 fumbles for touchdowns.
