Tilly Walker (Clarence William Walker) was born on September 4, 1887 in Telford, Tennessee. He made his Major League debut on June 10, 1911 for the Washington Senators. In 1911, his rookie year, he hit .278 with 2 home runs and 39 RBI. Walker played for the Washington Senators, St. Louis Browns, Boston Red Sox and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that Tilly Walker's best season was 1922, when he slugged 37 home runs, hit for a .283 average and knocked in 99 runs.
