Tex Vache (Ernest Lewis Vache) was born on November 17, 1888 in Santa Monica, California. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1925 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1925, his rookie year, he hit .313 with 3 home runs and 48 RBI. Vache played for the Boston Red Sox for his entire 1 year career.
