Terry Kosens (Theodore J. Kosens) was born on October 3, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York. After going to high school at Mineola (NY), Kosens attended Hofstra University. Kosens made his professional debut in the NFL in 1963 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings for his entire 1 year career.
Kosens would later become a teacher at Brentwood High School in NY and coach the school's golf team.
