Terrence Long (Terrence Deon Long) was born on February 29, 1976 in Montgomery, Alabama. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1999 for the Oakland Athletics. In 2000, his rookie year, he hit .288 with 18 home runs and 80 RBI. Long played for the Oakland Athletics, San Diego Padres, Kansas City Royals and New York Yankees over the course of his 7 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Terrence Long's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2000, when he slugged 18 home runs, hit for a .288 average and knocked in 80 runs. However, others believe that it was 2001, when he hit for a .283 average and knocked in 85 runs.
