Ted Riddell (Ted Eugene Riddell) was born on June 17, 1896 in Beatrice, Nebraska. After going to high school at Beatrice (NE), Riddell attended the University of Nebraska. Riddell made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Rock Island Independents. He played for the Rock Island Independents for his entire 1 year career.
