Sylvester Croom (Sylvester Croom, Jr.) was born on September 25, 1954 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. After going to high school at Tuscaloosa (AL), Croom attended the University of Alabama. Croom made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 1 year career.
