Swoop
Swoop is also the mascot for the Emory Eagles athletic program. A goofy looking Eagle, he routinely makes appearances at basketball and soccer games. However, he is not well-respected by the university student-body, who consider Dooley -- the skeletal embodiment of Emory's "school spirit" -- to be the true mascot.
Although known as the Utes, the University of Utah employs a red-tailed hawk named Swoop as its mascot at basketball and football games.
Swoop once made a cameo appearence in a commercial where a thief disguised as a kangaroo mascot tried to steal Philadelphia Eagles jerseys from the locker room after a big game. Swoop walks into the locker room and the kangaroo tries to escape but the security guards catch the mascot.
