Stu Clancy (Stuart Joseph Clancy) was born on June 6, 1906 in Branford, Connecticut. After going to high school at Branford (CT) and St. Johns's Prep, Clancy attended Holy Cross College. Clancy made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Newark Tornadoes. He played for the New York Giants, Staten Island Stapletons and Newark Tornadoes over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1933 was Stu Clancy's best year.
