Steve George (Stephen Elwood George) was born on April 11, 1951 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. After going to high school at Plano (TX), George attended the University of Houston. George made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Atlanta Falcons and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1974 was Steve George's best year.
