Born on July 29, 1963 in Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania, Steve Frey (Steven Francis Frey) played for the Montreal Expos, California Angels, San Francisco Giants, Seattle Mariners and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 8 year career. Frey broke into the bigs on May 10, 1989 with the Montreal Expos, and put up a 2.10 ERA in 55.2 innings pitched in 1990, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Steve Frey's best season was 1990, when he posted a 2.10 ERA.
