Born on December 12, 1956 in Cheverly, Maryland, Steve Farr (Steven Michael Farr) played for the Cleveland Indians, Kansas City Royals, New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 11 year career. Farr broke into the bigs on May 16, 1984 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 4.58 ERA in 116 innings pitched in 1984, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Steve Farr's best season was 1992, when he posted a 1.56 ERA and notched 30 saves.
