Stan Pavkov (Stonko S. Pavkov) was born on October 23, 1916 in Gooding, Idaho. After going to high school at Gooding (ID), Pavkov attended the University of Idaho. Pavkov made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 2 year career.
