Born on March 5, 1915 in Wendel, Pennsylvania, Stan Ferens (Stanley Ferens) played for the St. Louis Browns for his entire 2 year career. Ferens broke into the bigs on June 10, 1942 with the St. Louis Browns, and put up a 3.78 ERA in 69 innings pitched in 1942, his rookie year.
