Sollie Sherman (Saul Sherman) was born on September 25, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at John Marshall (Chicago, IL), Sherman attended Unversity of Chicago. Sherman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1940 was Sollie Sherman's best year.
