Skip Lane (Paul John Lane, Jr.) was born on January 30, 1960 in Norwalk, Connecticut. After going to high school at Staples (Norwalk, CT), Lane attended the University of Mississippi. Lane made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the New York Jets. He played for the Washington Redskins and New York Jets over the course of his 2 year career.
