Skeet Quinlan (Volney Ralph Quinlan) was born on June 22, 1928 in San Angelo, Texas. After going to high school at Grand Prairie (TX), Quinlan attended San Diego State University and Texas Christian University. Quinlan made his professional debut in the NFL in 1952 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1953 was Skeet Quinlan's best year, as he ran for 705 yards and ran in 4 TDs.
