Sixto Lezcano (Sixto Joaquin (Curras) Lezcano) was born on November 28, 1953 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. He made his Major League debut on September 10, 1974 for the Milwaukee Brewers. In 1975, his rookie year, he hit .247 with 11 home runs and 43 RBI. Lezcano played for the Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals, San Diego Padres, Philadelphia Phillies and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that Sixto Lezcano's best season was 1979, when he slugged 28 home runs, hit for a .321 average and knocked in 101 runs.
