Siddeeq Shabazz (Siddeeq Muneer Shabazz) went to high school at Gadsden (Anthony, NM).
College
Played in 46 games at New Mexico State University and recorded 233 tackles, five tackles for a loss, four interceptions, seven knockdowns, three fumble recoveries and five forced fumbles. He was a two-time All-Sunbelt Conference first team and Verizon Academic All-District selection. His younger brother, Skukree, was a teammate at New Mexico State. Shabazz majored in Business Management. He was a two-year letter winner for Gadsden High School in Anthony, New Mexico where he played cornerback and running back. He graduated in the top five percent of his class. He also competed in the Junior Olympics in long-jump and 100-meter dash.

Drafted in the 7th round (246th overall) by the Oakland Raiders in the 2003 NFL Draft.Shabazz made his professional debut in the NFL in 2003 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 3 year NFL career. Signed as a free agent with the Edmonton Eskimos on January 29, 2007.Shabazz had a breakout rookie season with the Esks at both linebacker and on special teams. He led the team in defensive tackles with 78 and fumbles recoveries with two. He also had 17 special teams tackles, two knockdowns, four quarterback sacks, one forced fumble and two tackles for losses.
