Born on March 28, 1967 in Hawthorne, Nevada, Shawn Boskie (Shawn Kealoha Boskie) played for the Chicago Cubs, Seattle Mariners, Philadelphia Phillies, California Angels, Baltimore Orioles and Montreal Expos over the course of his 9 year career. Boskie broke into the bigs on May 20, 1990 with the Chicago Cubs, and put up a 3.69 ERA in 97.2 innings pitched in 1990, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Shawn Boskie's best season was 1996, when he won 12 games and struck out 133 batters.
