Sean Salisbury (Richard Sean Salisbury) was born on March 9, 1963 in Long Beach, California. After going to high school at Orange Glen (Escondido, CA), Salisbury attended the University of Southern California. Salisbury made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Indianapolis Colts. He played for the Minnesota Vikings, San Diego Chargers and Indianapolis Colts over the course of his 5 year career. Sean was an ESPN announcer for 12 years before ESPN decided not to renew his contract in 2008.
Most people believe that 1993 was Sean Salisbury's best year.
