Sandy Martinez (Angel Sandy (Martinez) Martinez) was born on October 8, 1970 in Villa Mella, Distrito Nacional (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on June 24, 1995 for the Toronto Blue Jays. In 1995, his rookie year, he hit .241 with 2 home runs and 25 RBI. Martinez played for the Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago Cubs, Florida Marlins, Montreal Expos, Cleveland Indians and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 8 year career.
