Sandy Alomar (Santos (Conde) Alomar) was born on October 19, 1943 in Salinas, Puerto Rico. He made his Major League debut on September 15, 1964 for the Milwaukee Braves. In 1968, his rookie year, he hit .253 with 0 home runs and 12 RBI. Alomar played for the Milwaukee Braves, Atlanta Braves, New York Mets, Chicago White Sox, California Angels, New York Yankees and Texas Rangers over the course of his 15 year career.

Most people believe that Sandy Alomar's best season was 1971, when he stole 39 bases.
