Sam Turner (Samuel Turner) was born on April 16, 1902 in Richardson, Texas. After going to high school at Western (Washington, DC), . Turner made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Washington Senators. He played for the Washington Senators for his entire 1 year career.
