Ryan Jorgensen

Ryan Jorgensen (Ryan Wayne Jorgensen) was born on May 4, 1979 in Jacksonville, Florida. He made his Major League debut on August 8, 2005 for the Florida Marlins. Jorgensen played for the Florida Marlins for his entire 1 year career.
Jorgenson was briefly mentioned in baseball's Mitchell Report. His name came up as one of the 4 players (along with Jason Grimsley, Jay Gibbons, and Jose Guillen) that have been suspended from baseball for "non-analytic" violation of MLB anti-steroid policy. While Guillen and Gibbons received 15-game bans, Grimsley and Jorgenson were handed 50-game suspensions.
