Rudy Hagberg (Rudolph Emil Hagberg) was born on June 18, 1907 in Charleroi, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Follansbee (WV), Hagberg attended West Virginia University. Hagberg made his professional debut in the NFL in 1929 with the Buffalo Bisons. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Buffalo Bisons over the course of his 2 year career.
