Ruben Gotay (Ruben Bruce Gotay) was born on December 25, 1982 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He made his Major League debut on August 3, 2004 for the Kansas City Royals. In 2004, his rookie year, he hit .270 with 1 home run and 16 RBI. Gotay played for the Kansas City Royals for his entire 2 year career.
