Roy Martineau (Daniel Roy Martineau) was born on August 20, 1900 in Syracuse, New York. After going to high school at Solvay (NY), Martineau attended Syracuse University and the University at Buffalo. Martineau made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Buffalo All-Americans. He played for the Rochester Jeffersons and Buffalo All-Americans over the course of his 3 year career.
