Roy Justin Thomas

Born on June 22, 1953 in Quantico, Virginia, Roy Thomas (Roy Justin Thomas) played for the Houston Astros, St. Louis Cardinals and Seattle Mariners over the course of his 8 year career. Thomas broke into the bigs on September 21, 1977 with the Houston Astros, and put up a 2.92 ERA in 77 innings pitched in 1979, his rookie year.
There is some disagreement on what was Roy Thomas's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1985, when he posted a 3.36 ERA and struck out 70 batters. However, others believe that it was 1983, when he posted a 3.45 ERA and struck out 77 batters.
