Born on July 12, 1888 in Madisonville, Ohio, Roy Golden (Roy Kramer Golden) played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 2 year career. Golden broke into the bigs on September 7, 1910 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 5.02 ERA in 148.2 innings pitched in 1911, his rookie year.
