Roxy Walters (Alfred John Walters) was born on November 5, 1892 in San Francisco, California. He made his Major League debut on September 16, 1915 for the New York Yankees. In 1916, his rookie year, he hit .266 with 0 home runs and 23 RBI. Walters played for the New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 11 year career.
