Rondy Colbert (Rondy Estes Colbert) was born on January 7, 1954 in Corsicana, Texas. After going to high school at Sterling (Houston, TX), Colbert attended Lamar University. Colbert made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1975 was Rondy Colbert's best year, as he ran back a punt for a touchdown and had 408 kick return yards.
