Born on April 14, 1948 in Catherine, Kansas, Ron Schueler (Ronald Richard Schueler) played for the Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 8 year career. Schueler broke into the bigs on April 16, 1972 with the Atlanta Braves, and put up a 3.67 ERA in 144.2 innings pitched in 1972, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Ron Schueler's best season was 1973, when he posted a 3.87 ERA and struck out 124 batters.
