Ron Nery (Ronald D. Nery) was born on December 30, 1934 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at New Kensington (PA), Nery attended Kansas State University. Nery made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Los Angeles Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers, Houston Oilers and Los Angeles Chargers over the course of his 4 year career.
