Born on March 1, 1944 in Jersey City, New Jersey, Ron Klimkowski (Ronald Bernard Klimkowski) played for the New York Yankees and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 4 year career. Klimkowski broke into the bigs on September 15, 1969 with the New York Yankees, and put up a 2.65 ERA in 98.1 innings pitched in 1970, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Ron Klimkowski's best season was 1970, when he posted a 2.65 ERA.
