Roland James (Roland Orlando James) was born on February 18, 1958 in Xenia, Ohio. After going to high school at Greenview (Jamestown, OH), James attended the University of Tennessee. James made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots for his entire 11 year career.
Most people believe that 1983 was Roland James's best year, as he picked off 5 passes and recovered 3 opponents fumbles.
