Roger Jones (Roger Carver Jones) was born on April 22, 1969 in Cleveland, Ohio. After going to high school at Pearl-Cohn (Nashville, TN), Jones attended Tennessee State University. Jones made his professional debut in the NFL in 1991 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cincinnati Bengals and Tennessee Oilers over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1995 was Roger Jones's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown.
