Rod Walters (Wayne Roderick Walters) was born on February 27, 1954 in Lansing, Michigan. After going to high school at Berkley (MI), Walters attended the University of Iowa. Walters made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins over the course of his 4 year career.
