Rocky Bridges (Everett Lamar Bridges) was born on August 7, 1927 in Refugio, Texas. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1951 for the Brooklyn Dodgers. In 1951, his rookie year, he hit .254 with 1 home run and 15 RBI. Bridges played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds, Washington Senators, Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Cardinals, Cleveland Indians and Los Angeles Angels over the course of his 11 year career.
