Rocket Ismail (Raghib Ramadian Ismail) was born on November 18, 1969 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. After going to high school at Emil L. Meyers (Wilkes-Barre, PA), Ismail attended the University of Notre Dame. Ismail made his professional debut in the NFL in 1993 with the Los Angeles Raiders. He played for the Dallas Cowboys, Carolina Panthers, Los Angeles Raiders and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that 1999 was Rocket Ismail's best year, as he hauled in 80 receptions, had 1097 receiving yards and caught 6 TD passes.
