Rocco Pirro (Rocco A. Pirro) was born on June 30, 1916 in Syracuse, New York. After going to high school at Solvay (NY), Pirro attended Catholic College. Pirro made his professional debut in the NFL in 1940 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers the entire time. Pirro also played in the AAFC for 4 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Bisons over the course of his 4 year AAFC career.
Most people believe that 1941 was Rocco Pirro's best year.
