Ricky Jones (Broderick Jones) was born on March 9, 1955 in Birmingham, Alabama. After going to high school at Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL), Jones attended Tuskegee University. Jones made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Baltimore Colts and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1980 was Ricky Jones's best year.
