Rickey Henderson’s 130 stolen bases in a season

In 1982, Henderson shattered Lou Brock's modern major league record by stealing 130 bases, a total which has not been approached since. (Three years later, Vince Coleman stole 110 bases.) During the 1982 season, Henderson had an astounding 84 stolen bases at the All-Star break -- 21 more than any other player in history.

I think if Lou Brock was in Henderson's position, I think Brock would've stolen 140. Brock is faster than Henderson, but Henderson was more aggresive on the basepaths, which is also why he has 468 more stolen bases than Brock. Also, after Henderson stole his 1000th base, his next goal was to steal 1500, which was absolutely ridiculous at his age at the time (he was 34). It's absolutely amazing that he actually stole 406 after that day...
