Rick Schu (Richard Spencer Schu) was born on January 26, 1962 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 1, 1984 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1985, his rookie year, he hit .252 with 7 home runs and 24 RBI. Schu played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers, California Angels and Montreal Expos over the course of his 9 year career.
